Not to worry red--summer or winter it is awesome drove thru it 2 growing up in Ca going to yakama Wa to see my grandma camped a few spots ect

Lots of good hiking and fishing in the park Frank. It should be open by late June or maybe July. They have record snows this year and it will take a while to remove the snow from the roads.

There may be snow all year on Lassen this year. Also Shasta.

When I was young and dumb i used to hike up there all the time. Now that I am older and dumber but a little wiser I let the kids do the hard work. It is a long hike up the side of that mountain. Coming down ain't bad though.
